What Is Face Lift Recovery Like?

One of the most common questions our Michigan face lift candidates ask is how long recovery will take and what it will be like. Everyone knows that a face lift can turn the clock back up to ten years, but what they really want to know is when will they be able to show their rejuvenated look to their friends.

In general, your sutures and any metal clips used will be removed within 7-10 days after your procedure, depending on how your recovery is progressing. You will likely experience bruising and swelling in the first few days but this will gradually subside. Within 2 weeks, you should be able to return to work and daily activities with makeup on. And within 1 to 4 months after your facial cosmetic surgery, you will be ready to debut your new look for a big event like a wedding or graduation.
